<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection device for a vehicle capable of certainly protecting an occupant by suppressing falling down of an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The occupant crash protection device for the vehicle protects the occupant by inflating/deploying the airbag 40 between the occupant sitting on a first seat in a cabin and the occupant sitting on a second seat adjacent to a vehicle width direction of the first seat. The airbag 40 is inflated/deployed such that it abuts on an end surface of a front side of the vehicle on a central backrest part 32 provided along the backrest parts between the backrest part of the first seat and the backrest part of the second seat and it is abutted on respective end surfaces at a rear side of the vehicle of the backrest part 52 of a driver's seat 50 and a backrest part of a front passenger seat and end surface at a rear side of the vehicle of a center console 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
