- A transversal field mode transflective liquid crystal display is provided to maximize contrast ratio by preventing light leakage on a boundary of a transmission unit and a reflection unit. A gate line(103) and a data line(125) define a pixel area by intersecting an array substrate. A common line(109) passes through the pixel area by extending the gate line and the data line. A first common electrode(112) is formed in the pixel area.
