<p>Disclosed is a battery case for a vehicle, which is provided with: a tray member (22), which houses a battery (38), and which is composed of a resin; one or more beam members (30), each of which is disposed in the width direction and/or longitudinal direction of the tray member, supports the tray member, and has a recessed section (50) formed thereon; and a bottom wall (58), which is inserted between the tray member and the beam member, and which is configured of a continuous metal plate that covers the bottom plate of the tray member, while forming a closed cross-section by closing the opened surface of the recessed section of the beam member.</p>
