CONSTITUTION: A steering apparatus for a ship comprises an upper worm wheel(110), a pair of upper worm shafts(120a,120b), an upper driving part(130), and an upper gear part(140). The upper worm wheel is shaft-coupled to the upper part of a rudder stock and comprises an upper worm wheel gear part. The upper worm wheel gear part is formed along the outer circumference in a radius direction of a rotary central axis. The upper worm shaft comprises an upper worm shaft gear part coupled with the upper worm wheel gear part and allows the worm wheel to rotate in one direction. The upper driving part provides driving force for rotating the upper worm shaft. The upper gear part delivers the driving force to the upper worm shaft.
