<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive controller which can securely start a motor even when the motor rotates in a positive direction or a reverse direction by influence of wind and the like when the motor is started. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation direction detecting portion 2 detects a rotation direction just before the motor 51 is started. A drive voltage adjusting portion 5 adjusts drive voltages SU1, SV1 and SW1 when the motor 51 is started so as to become different from prescribed drive voltage outputted to the motor 51 when the motor 51 is started in a non-rotational state in accordance with the rotation direction just before the motor 51 is started, which is detected by the rotation direction detection portion 2. Especially, the drive voltage adjusting portion 5 controls a control parameter for controlling rotation speed of the motor 51 to become different from prescribed control parameter used when the motor 51 is started in the non-rotational state in accordance with the rotation direction just before the motor is started, and adjusts the drive voltage when the motor is started based on the adjusted control parameter to adjust the drive voltage when the motor is started so as to become different from the prescribed drive voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
