<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure widely securing a corresponding range to a weight variation of a mounting object material, improving rigidity to a twisting stress of an arm and smoothly adjusting the position of the mounting object material. <P>SOLUTION: An arm stand 1 includes: a support 2; an arm 3 having a base end rotationally connected to the upper part of the support 2; and a mounting body 4 rotationally connected to the tip end of the arm 3 for mounting a mounting object material D. The arm stand 1 further includes elastic support means 5 having a base end rotationally connected to a support 23, and a connecting member 6 rotationally connected to the tip end of the elastic support means 5 and connected to the arm 3 so as to adjust the position in the longitudinal direction.
