<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck device capable of achieving a stable installation state by increasing a force for fastening a base shaft of a rotating tool by a chuck claw. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that the rotating force inputted from an outer nut ring 60 exceeds a predetermined rotation load, in a rotation converting ring 50, the outer nut ring 60 differentially rotates relative to an inner nut ring 80 whose rotation is fixed. The rotation converting ring 50 changes the differential rotation of the outer nut ring 60 to the forward differential movement of the inner nut ring 80 in an axis AL so as to move the inner nut ring 80 forward in the axis AL relative to the outer nut ring 60, and thereby the inner nut ring is screwed to jaws 20 and a chuck body 30, so that the inner nut ring 80 integrally pushes the three jaws 20 which synchronize with each other to inner peripheral surfaces 37a of jaw installation holes 37 to improve the holding force by the jaws 20 relative to the base shaft J. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
