- PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat dissipation of a capacitor.SOLUTION: A capacitor 15 includes a plurality of film capacitors 1 connected in parallel. A first metallikon part 6 of each film capacitor 1 is connected to a plate-like copper bar 9 connected to a positive electrode of a DC source, and a second metallikon part 6 of each film capacitor 1 is connected to a plate-like copper bar 10 connected to a negative electrode of the DC source. The film capacitors 1 are disposed on the copper bar 10 so that the surfaces of the metallikon parts 6 of the film capacitors 1 are arranged perpendicular to the plate surfaces of the copper bars 9 and 10. When a film capacitor group 11 is composed, four film capacitors 1 are adjacently disposed so that the first metallikon parts 6 connected to the positive electrode and the second metallikon parts 6 connected to the negative electrode are arranged away from and opposite to each other. Two film capacitor groups 11 having such a structure are stacked so as to be adjacent to each other in a short axis direction of the metallikon parts 6 of the film capacitors 1 which structure the film capacitor groups 11.
