FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: device comprises a unit 1 for power current setting, the outlet of which is connected to a positive input of the first summator 3, to the negative input of which the first output 2 of power current is connected. The output of the summator 3 is connected to the first input of the multiplier 5, the output of which is connected to the input of a controller 7, the output of which is connected to the input of a drive 11 of electrode displacement. The output of the drive 11 of electrode displacement is connected to the input of a sensor 12 of electrode displacement speed, the output of which is connected to the input of the link 8 of a control object model. The output of the control object model link 8 is connected to the negative input of the summator 3. The second output of the sensor 2 of power current is connected to the serially connected sensor 4 of vibrations and the filter 6, the output of which is connected to the positive input of the second summator 10, the negative input of which is connected to the unit 9 for setting of the permissible value of current vibrations amplitude, the outlet of the second summator 10 is connected to the inlet of the first comparator 13, the outlet of which is connected to the serially connected first pulse shaper 15 and the first pulse counter 17, also the outlet of the first comparator 13 is connected to serially connected "NOT" element 14, "AND" element 16, the second pulse shaper 18 and the second pulse counter 19. The output of the first pulse counter 17 and the second pulse counter 19 are connected accordingly with the negative and positive inputs of the third summator 20, the third input of which is connected to the output of the unit 22 for setting of the amplification coefficient, the output of the unit 22 for setting of the amplification coefficient is also connected with the first input of the second comparator 21, the second input of which is connected with the output of the third summator 20, the output of the second comparator 21 is connected with the second input of the "AND" element 16. The output of the third summator 20 is connected with the second input of the multiplier 5.EFFECT: reduced sensitivity of a system of arc steel-smelting furnace control to varying parameters of melting process, higher stability of operation modes, lower level of power current pulsations, lower losses of energy, suppressed oscillations of power current of an arc steel-smelting furnace.4 dwg
