FIELD: food industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. One proposes the said starch-containing beverage and food product. The said starch manufacture method envisages exposure of starch, rich in amylose, with amylose content equal to 40% or more, to more acidic treatment in a water solution of an inorganic acid. Acidic treatment is performed under reaction conditions preset by the ratio expressions below: (5.54 ×(4.20)?C<-0.000016×T+0.00068×T-0.028×T+4.3 (1) and 13.0×C×(1/4.2?t?180×C×(1/4.2)(2).
