PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector which can detect deterioration of a resistance part installed in a Wheatstone bridge circuit, or a gas detector which suppresses decrease of detection accuracy of gas concentration even when resistance value of the resistance part varies, and program.SOLUTION: In a gas detector, a first bridge fixed resistance 211 of a combustible gas detector 1 is constituted of a resistance element that is hardly deteriorated according to the relative comparison with a second bridge fixed resistance 212 and a variable resistance part 213. The combustible gas detector 1 can determine at least one deterioration state of the second bridge fixed resistance 212 and the variable resistance part 213 on the basis of absolute value of a difference temperature &Dgr;T that is a differential value between a judgment temperature T1 at the timing of detection and reference decision temperature T0. The combustible gas detector 1 acquires a post-correction voltage VH' at the high temperature and a post-correction voltage VL' at the low temperature by use of the voltage error &Dgr;V1 so that decrease of detection accuracy of hydrogen concentration is suppressed even when resistance value of the resistance part varies.
