PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transferring a seaweed which facilitates the transferred seaweed to root on a water bottom ground even under a severe wave condition.SOLUTION: A unit 1 in a state that a bottom face 2a and side faces 2b of a soil lump 2 where a seaweed 3 roots are covered with a net 5 and at least a part of a top face 2c of the soil lump 2 is covered with the net 5, is placed on a water bottom ground 8 as a transfer destination. Then, by inserting a bar-shaped fixture 6 into the net 5 covering the top face 2c of the soil lump 2, and by making it penetrate from above to below the soil lump 2 to insert it into the water bottom ground 8, the unit 1 is fixed to the water bottom ground 8 as the transfer destination and thereby the transfer is finished.
