- A device for pulling in the stator winding (13) of an electric motor has supporting laminates (2) which are arranged outside the stator bore (7), in front of the tooth tips. At least some of the supporting laminates have a projection (20), which diverts the winding strand (13), on the radially outer side surface at an axial distance from the stator end surface (4). This projection is preferably formed by a spherical cup or hemisphere. In this way, it is largely possible to avoid wires remaining outside the slot insulation. <IMAGE>
