Door coupling device for the production and release of an operative connection between the cage door and a shaft door in a lift by means of elements, which arespread by rotation, in the form of a roller double lever (1) at the cage side, which by means of a thrust/rotation unit engages in entraining straight arms (21) in the storey zone at the storey door and thus entrains the shaft door free of play during door opening at the storey. Through the rotatable and, in particular, retractable roller double lever (1) and the arrangement thereof above the door leaves (16.1,16.2) it is possible to keep the threshold gap very small.
