- PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct the FRC pavement of high durability by sandwiching the contraction joint part of the fiber reinforced concrete(FRC) pavement, and cutting off the connection of the fiber of the adjacent FRC board by using an edge cutting plate. SOLUTION: The contraction joint part of a fiber reinforced concrete(FRC) 5 pavement is sandwiched and the adjacent FRC boards 5 are edge-cut by cutting off the connection of the adjacent FRC boards 5. In a method for cutting the edge, an edge cutting plate 1 is preferably installed on the contraction joint part in the direction of road crossing. In addition, the edge cutting plate is in the form of a flat plate, a wave plate, a sheet or the like, and a round hole is drilled at a prescribed position so that a slip bar 3 can be penetrated. Thereby traffic load is transmitted to the adjacent FRC board 5, but stress and displacement caused by the contraction of concrete are not transmitted, and the FRC 5 pavement of high durability can be constructed.
