摘要：: FIELD: road traffic control equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has one or two checkpoints which are located about road, and one or two test regions with division of lanes and traffic directions. Test regions are equipped with video cameras with observation regions and illumination units. One of checkpoints comprises identification computers which are connected to video cameras, as well as server with printer, monitor and manipulator, which is connected to identification computers by means of local-area network. In addition device has road monitoring equipment using rotation video camera and telephone communication system. Video monitoring and telephone communication, as well server are connected by means of multiplexer (or its software functional equivalent), telecommunication system and radio antenna to central database with data for cars under search, and device for stopping cars. EFFECT: decreased cost and simplified continuous use of checkpoint which monitors road traffic in city, region or state in conditions of legal restrictions on admissible reasons for stopping cars by police squads. 8 cl, 3 dwg
