A vertical rotation type arm structure of a transfer robot is provided to simplify a shaft of the transfer robot by using a link connected structure, and to simplify the structure by forming a transfer path by one driving motor and a pneumatic cylinder. A vertical rotation type arm structure of a transfer robot comprises a fixed bracket(1), a rotary shaft(2), a rotary link(3), a transfer bracket(4), and a lift(5). The fixed bracket has a rotary shaft(12) rotated by a servo motor(11), and a first hinge(13) separated from the rear of the rotary shaft. The rotary shaft has one rear end mounted to the rotary shaft. The rotary link has one rear end mounted to the first hinge. The transfer bracket is formed with a second hinge(41) mounted with the other rear end of the rotary shaft, and a third hinge(42) through which the other rear end of the rotary link is rotatably mounted. The lift is mounted on the transfer bracket and moved horizontally by a pneumatic cylinder(51). A buffer unit(43) is projected to the rear surface of the transfer bracket. A first sensor is mounted on the rotary shaft. A second sensor(52) is mounted at a lower end of the lift to sense the mounted state of the article.
